Several years ago, Wonder Wife and I decided to end our "Cozy" Genre series of spy novels with JFK The Umbrella Conspiracy by William Penn, our alter ego.
Wow, this is fascinating. I'd long ago set aside JFK's murder as "solved." Now am not so sure.
I am pretty sure, though, that the Law of Coincidence has something to do with this. Otherwise, the plot has too many individuals who can't keep their mouth shut.
Fair enough. Please remember the source. Roger Stone may not be the ideal source, but his assertions are always interesting (although Richard Nixon is no longer around to confirm their conversation).

Leading to Jack Ruby's murder of Oswald, maybe.
Interestingly, your excellent post arrived in my email box along with this one, which features my former GOP political operative colleague, Roger Stone. Stone wrote a book on the JFK assassination, fingering LBJ. He does much the same here, recounting a conversation with Richard Nixon after he left the presidency. https://stevedewey.substack.com/p/roger-stones-latest-commentary-on?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=665491&post_id=160081064&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=true&r=2yvflv&triedRedirect=true&utm_medium=email
After reading the linked article, I no longer am sure about anything.
It sure smells like something was rotten in Denmark, though possibly how rotten boggles the mind.
I sure wish Lawrence Wright, author of "The Looming Tower" on 9/11, wrote a book on the JFK assassination. Whatever he'd write, I'd believe.

I believe I have yet to read that one. I will start it immediately
